FCU support rods - 2007/12/28 06:35Could someone tell me how the Fan Cooling Unit support rods are attached to the trusses in the roof cavity ?

Usually with threaded rod. However nowadays most people sit them on the roof joists with a sheet of chipboard along with some anti-vibration pad to absorb any possible noise.
With the threaded rod its just a matter of buying a few meters and bolting it as required. Ensure the size rod can handle the weight of the fan coil unit. All the best...Dynamic Heating & Cooling http://www.dynamicheatcool.com.au
