ceiling vents for heating system - 2007/08/03 21:45
I have a ducted heating system which uses the "Down Vent" as the standard vent in each room. My only issue with these vents is the hissing sound issued from them when the vent is in the closed position and the heater is active.
Will changing the vent from a "Down Vent" to a "Round Diffuser" reduce/eliminate this noise?
I am mainly concerned about the vent in my home theatre room. The equipment (& I) doesn't like the heat but the hissing sound becomes annoying while watching dvds.
