Humidity on Coastal Victoria - 2008/01/08 06:24
I am looking to fit an evaporitive cooler to my house .
I live in Portland and have been advised by local installers that evaporitive coolers don't work in Portland (or anywhere on the coast), I spoke to Brivis & they assured my they will work.
From Data from the bureau of meterology I learn't....yes the humidity is high in Portland...but not when the temperature rises above 25 degrees.
So will an evapoative cooler work here and what size unit will I need for a 15 square weatherboard house with 3.3 metre ceiling as Brivis just tell me to see a dealer & no local dealers are interested in evaporative coolers.

Thanks
Peter

Re:Humidity on Coastal Victoria - 2008/01/10 16:59 evaporative cooling works fine near the coast. For a 15sq home I would suggest the 33 series, whether it be the profiler, advance or contour.

brivis offer a service but don't advertise it where you can send through your floor plan and they will size it up and let you know what size cooler to use
