Will I be able to sleep? - 2007/04/27 21:31 Hi,

I've been trying to workout the best place for the heating unit. I haven't purchased one yet but will probably get a Buffalo 20.

Basically the easiest place is right near the entrance to under the house as it is close to the gas and has the easiest access. However all bedrooms (specifically mine) are along this wall.

How noisy are the units? Will it keep me awake during the night if it's just on the other side of the wall to my head? Or would it be better to use a different position?

Cheers,
Neil

Re:Will I be able to sleep? - 2007/04/27 23:30 G'day Neil,

We had a brivis HE 20 e outside our bedroom and you could hear it, just a whir / whine of the fan. Hard to say if you will be able to sleep, if it is a real concern you'd be best to place it in another location (for family peace?)
