Parts included in DIY kits - 2007/01/25 18:15 In the parts lists for the 7 point DIY ducted air conditioning kit I noticed that there are only 5 of the 200mm ducts where the layout drawing shows 7. Does this mean some of the 5 will need to be cut?

Also is the piping which goes between the outside unit and the inside unit supplied in the kit? If so, how long is it?

The specifications say that the unit has a precharge length of 10m, does this mean that if you need a longer run than 10m additional refrigerant will need to be added?

Thanks for your help.

Re:Parts included in DIY kits - 2007/01/25 23:02 Hi and thanks for your post.
Yes your correct, some of the lengths will need to be cut to size.
There is no copper piping supplied in our kits, usually the refrigeration mechanic will supply them.
The units come pre-charged to a length of 10m as you stated correctly, when the refrigeration mechanic connects your lines he will add the needed refrigerant.

Hope this answers all your questions. Have a nice long weekend!
Sarah.
